Our Axekool vintage pickups are 100% handwound. Traditionally pinched between forefinger and thumb on one of our very own unique hand built pickup winding machines. Unlike machine wound pickups, handwound (scatterwound) pickups can have a richer harmonic voice. All our pickups are custom wound to order, so they are made for you.
