Fender Musicmaster 1976 L/H Project, Complete Rebuild

This original right handed Musicmaster guitar was in a bad way and the body was never going to be recovered as it had been hacked up at some point in its life, which was a real shame. The project was a new body in the form of a left handed mustang, because our client is left handed and to use original right handed neck.

The neck needed a lot of tidying up because of inlays that had been added and general wear and tear with frets etc. Everything else needed either an overhaul, cleaning or replacing.

The electrics were carefully configured with a single slide switch as a 3 way pickup selector and a coil split switch for the hot rails pickup in the bridge. Created a bespoke pickguard to hold everything together and a custom vintage wiring harness.

Finally a setup and test.
