This is a complete harness unlike Version 1 due to the switch being wired differently.

This Les Paul Harness is wired to the Peter Frampton wiring schematic for 3 Humbuckers.

The Peter Frampton configuration gives you full control of all 3 pickups to use individually or altogether in any order.

Peter Frampton Configuration
The Peter Frampton Wiring Harness Version 2 with a 2 Volume and 2 Tone configuration is where the Neck & Bridge Pickups work via the 3 way switch and one Volume and Tone. The Middle pickup runs direct to the other Volume and Tone Volume control. The Middle pickup is always on (regardless of the toggle switch position) and you can blend it in with either or both the Bridge & Neck. It gives you full control of all 3 pickups to use individually or altogether in any order.

Components
USA 500k CTS Potentiometers x 4, Standard or Long Split Shaft (fitted with additional nut for height adjustment on the long shaft pot).
Switchcraft USA 3 Way Toggle Switch (short frame).
Switchcraft USA Jack Socket.
Sprague Orange Drop Capacitor x 2, Size 0.022uF
Gavitt USA Braided Wire.
Tinned Copper “Buss” Ground Wire.
Mounted on a 3D Printed Wiring Template.
Pots supplied with Nut, Flat Washer & Locking Star Washer.

Long or Short Potentiometers? (Pots)
If you are unsure of the pot length required on your Les Paul guitar, then please order the Long Pots as they will fit all models and can also be adjusted in length due to the extra nut fitted, where if you order the Short Pots they may not be long enough.
Short Pot threaded bushing height: 9.52mm.
Long Pot threaded bushing height: 19.05mm (supplied with 2 nuts for height adjustment).

Controls
Volume 1 – Bridge & Neck.
Tone 1 – Bridge & Neck.
Volume 2 – Middle.
Tone 2 – Middle.

Switching
Position 1 – Bridge Pickup
Position 2 – Bridge & Neck Pickup.
Position 3 – Neck Pickup.

Will this fit my guitar?
Our pre-wired Les Paul, Peter Frampton Wiring Harness Version 2 is wired to fit genuine Gibson & Epiphone models. If installing into an imported model / DIY guitar kit you will need to ensure the Potentiometer holes will take CTS pots (approx 10mm). This can be done using a round file or carefully with a 10mm drill.

Centre to centre measurements between components
Centre of neck volume pot and neck tone pot – 63mm.
Centre of neck volume pot and bridge volume pot – 50mm.
Centre of neck tone pot and bridge tone pot – 50mm.
Centre of bridge volume pot and bridge tone pot – 61mm.
Measurements can sometimes vary slightly on some Les Paul models, so we allow plenty of movement in wire lengths between components to allow for a comfortable fit.
If your measurements are different from the above, please let us know when you order and we will build your harness to your specifications.
