This is a Professional Gretsch Solid Body Left Handed Wiring Harness using the very best in components to enhance the quality of tone and sound output from your guitar.

Unsoldered
The Gretsch Harness comes with the Switch and Master Volume Pot unsolder so you can thread the wiring through the Solid Body cavities.

Components

• USA 500k CTS Potentiometers x 4, Reverse Taper Split Shaft, Supplied with Brass Solid Shaft Conversion Sleeves if required.
• Switchcraft USA Toggle Switch (short frame) – Choice of Gold or Standard Nickel Colour.
• Switchcraft USA Jack Socket – Choice of Gold or Standard Nickel Colour.
• Sprague Orange Drop Capacitor x 1, Size 0.022uF.
• Gavitt USA Braided Wire.
• Heatshrink Insulation Sleeving.
• Mounted on a 3D Printed Wiring Template.
• Jack Socket and Pots supplied with Nut, Flat Dress Washer & Locking Star Washer.

Treble Bleed Option
The Treble Bleed is soldered to the Master Volume. A Treble Bleed takes the high treble tone frequencies out of the circuit at the volume pot and puts them back in the circuit as the signal leaves the volume pot. The result is a smoothed out treble and a more uniform tone from 1 to 10. Reducing the treble drop out as the volume pot rolls off. If you like the idea of retaining treble as you roll your volume pot down, then a treble bleed is for you. For the Treble Bleed Kit we use a 0.001uf Sprague Orange Drop Capacitor and a 120 Kilohms Metal Film Resistor.

Controls

Switching
Position 1 – Bridge Pickup.
Position 2 – Bridge & Neck Pickup.
Position 3 – Neck Pickup.

Will this fit my guitar?
Our pre-wired Gretsch Solid Body Left Handed Wiring Harness is wired to fit all models. If installing into an imported model or a DIY guitar kit you will need to ensure the Potentiometer holes will take CTS pots (approx 10mm). This can be done using a round file or carefully with a 10mm drill.

Centre to centre measurements between components
Centre of neck volume pot to bridge volume pot – 60mm.
Centre of Neck volume pot to tone pot – 60mm.
Measurements can sometimes vary slightly on some Gretsch, so we allow plenty of movement in wire lengths between components to allow for a comfortable fit. If your measurements are different from the above, please let us know and we will build your harness to your specifications.
