Gibson & Epiphone SG Coil Split Push & Pull Wiring Harness
This pre-wired Gibson & Epiphone SG Coil Split Push & Pull Wiring Harness is designed for replacing old electrics or upgrading the electronics of imported models or for use on DIY Kits. Components
Premium 500k CTS Potentiometers x 2, short or long split shaft with vintage audio taper (fitted with additional nut for height adjustment on the long shaft pot).
Push & Pull 500k CTS Pots x 2 short or long split shafts (fitted with additional nut for height adjustment on the long shaft pot).
Switchcraft Right Angle Toggle 3 Way Switch – Choice of switch knob colour is included, Cream, Amber or Black.
Switchcraft USA Jack Socket.
Capacitors x 2, 0.022uF Sprague Orange Drop or PIO Paper in Oil.
Gavitt USA made Shielded / Braided cloth wire.

Long or Short Potentiometers? (Pots)
If you are unsure of the pot length required on your SG guitar, then please order the Long Pots as they will fit all models and can also be adjusted in length due to the extra nut fitted, where if you order the Short Pots they may not be long enough.
Short Pot threaded bushing height: 9.52mm.
Long Pot threaded bushing height: 19.05mm (supplied with 2 nuts for height adjustment).
Controls – You can have the Push & Pull pots on either the Volume or tone pots.
Volume 1 – Bridge.
Volume 2 – Neck.
Tone 1 – Bridge / Push & Pull for Pickup Coil Split.
Tone 2 – Neck / Push & Pull for Pickup Coil Split.

Will this fit my guitar?
Our pre-wired SG Vintage Wiring harness is wired to fit all models including Gibson & Epiphone guitars. If installing into an imported model or a DIY guitar kit you will need to ensure the Potentiometer holes will take CTS pots (approx 10mm). This can be done using a round file or carefully with a 10mm drill.
Centre to centre measurements between components
Centre of Switch to neck volume pot – 55mm.
Centre of switch to bridge volume pot – 55mm.
Centre of neck volume pot to centre of neck tone pot – 50mm.
Centre of bridge volume pot to centre of bridge tone pot – 50mm.
Centre of neck volume pot to bridge volume pot – 44mm.
Centre of neck tone pot to bridge tone pot – 44mm.
Centre of neck tone pot to centre of jack socket – 34mm.
Measurements can sometimes vary slightly on some SG Models, so we allow plenty of movement in wire lengths between components to allow for a comfortable fit. If your measurements are different from the above, please let us know and we will build your harness to your specifications.
